DAY 01: YOUR ARRIVAL AT CHENNAI AIRPORT

On your arrival at Chennai International Airport, we meet and greet you. Later you’re to the pre-booked hotel. Overnight Stay at Chennai.

DAY 02: CHENNAI SIGHTSEEING

After the breakfast proceed to visit the famous tourist places of Chennai which include the most popular- Marina shoreline, Fort St. George, Santhome Church, Church of St. Mary, and Kapaleshwara Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03: CHENNAI – KANCHIPURAM – MAHABALIPURAM

With the star of the day after breakfast, you’re driven to Kanchipuram which was the capital city of Pallava Dynasty rulers. Visit the famous temple of Ekambareshwara Temple which is devoted to God Shiva. After that, you have a short drive to Kailasanatha Temple which is one of the most famous temples having lovely sculpture and marble carvings. After lunch, we arrange a visit to the Silk Weaving Center where you can have a showing of the weaving process. Later drive to Mahabalipuram which is a haven city of Pallava era. Enjoy your relaxed at the shoreline resort. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 04: MAHABALIPURAM

Post breakfast, you enjoy a short drive to visit the most acclaimed World Heritage UNESCO Monuments. Begin the tour with the visit of Sea Shore temple devoted to God Shiva and Lord Vishnu, and later to Five Rathas “Five Chariots” which is a solid structure, speaking to an interesting style worked by the Pallavas, just then at last to Arjuna’s Penance. You can relax at the hotel.

DAY 05: MAHABALIPURAM – PONDICHERRY

Toward the beginning of the day, drive to Pondicherry “The French Colony”. In the late evening have a visit to Sri Aurobindo Ashram which is devoted to Sri Aurobindo and “The Mother”. Later you visit “The Church of Sacred Heart” and “Notre woman des Anges”. You enjoy the rickshaw ride in the streets. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06: PONDICHERRY – GANGAIKONDACHOLAPURAM – DARASURAM TEMPLES – TANJORE

In the morning post breakfast, drive to Tanjore. On the way, you visit the well known Shiva Temple at Gangaikondacholapuram which was constructed in the eleventh century by the Chola rulers and this is one of the World Heritage Sites. In the late evening, visit the twelfth century Chola temple known as Airavatesvara which lies in a little town named Darasuram. After the visit continues your drive to Tanjore. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07: TANJORE SIGHTSEEING

Early in the day visit the famous Tanjore Art Gallery which has a large collection of figures and statues, Saraswati Mahal Library Museum. Later you visit Brihadeeshwara Temple which is otherwise called Big Temple and this is one of the World Heritage Sites under UNESCO. This is again the creation of Chola rulers of tenth century AD. Your evening sightseeing tour includes the visit of the Bronze Making Artisan’s Village where you can see the Bronze Casting and Tanjore Paintings. Overnight at Tanjore.

DAY 08: TANJORE – TRICHY

Your tour starts after breakfast with a drive to Trichy and on the way a stop at ‘Amma Mandapam’ – which is the sacred banks of River Cauvery, where you can see the Hindu traditions after the cremation ceremony. Then continue to visit the well known Vishnu temple in Srirangam which is one of the most sacred for the Hindus. In the evening by the end of the tour, you climb the Rock Fort from where you can have great views of the city. Overnight at Trichy.

DAY 09: TRICHY – CHETTINADU

Today post breakfast you are driven to Chettinadu otherwise called Kanadukathan. Here you are going to enjoy a village walk where you see the traditional houses of Chettiars. After the tour relaxed at the hotel.

DAY 10: CHETTINADU – MADURAI

Now you are driven to Madurai in a private car. Upon reaching visit the acclaimed Tirumalainayak Palace which was constructed in the sixteenth century with marvelous columns. In the afternoon you visit the famous Meenakshi temple which is devoted to Goddess Parvati and here you see a thousand pillared lobbies with eye-capturing sculpture work. In the evening, you are again going to visit the sacred Meenakshi temple to see the night function inside the temple. Overnight Stay at Madurai.

DAY 11: MADURAI – PERIYAR

In the morning after having a healthy breakfast you are driven to Periyar. Upon your arrival at Periyar which forms a boundary between Tamil Nadu and Kerala, you will check in at the hotel. Later after freshening up the guided tour to see the spice plantation and you get to know the value of the spices and their medicinal utility. Later go for a show Martial Arts which is called Kalaripayattu in the native language. Overnight at Periyar.

DAY 12: PERIYAR SIGHTSEEING

This morning your tour starts with a boat ride Periyar Forest Lake. Here you can enjoy some activity tours like Trekking Elephant Safari, Traditional Ayurvedic Massage and so on. These activities are optional and are of your choice. Overnight at Periyar.

DAY 13: PERIYAR – ALLEPPEY HOUSEBOAT

Your tour starts today with a drive to Alleppey which is the place of backwaters. On the way, you see the lush green tea plantation which looks like a green carpet. Upon reaching you check in the houseboat. These houseboats are huge and have exotic vessels which are designed for the leisure trip. You enjoy a sumptuous lunch and cruise in the famous Vembanadu Lake by passing through the canals for nearly 5 hours. DAY 14: ALLEPPEY – COCHIN

This morning post breakfast and checkout you are driven to Cochin in a luxury car. Upon your arrival at Cochin (Kochi) which is otherwise called by the epithet as the queen of the Arabian Sea, you do check in at the hotel. In the late evening, you visit some vital monuments which are of fifteenth and sixteenth century. You visit the St. Francis Church which was the built by the Portuguese and here you also see the tomb of a Portuguese Sailor Vasco-da-Gama. Later you see the Santa Cruz Basilica, a Catholic Church, and Chinese Fishing Nets. At night go to attend the Kerala Traditional Dance Show named “KATHAKALI”. Overnight at Cochin.

DAY 15: COCHIN

Today you can sleep for long without an early rise. After breakfast, you visit the Mattancherry Palace which is a Dutch palace and later you visit Jewish Synagogue. After these places, you enjoy a short drive to visit the Marine Drive. Overnight at Cochin.

DAY 16: COCHIN – OOTY

Today after a healthy breakfast proceed for a drive to Ooty which is known as the queen of the hills. At this place, you enjoy the serenity and bliss of nature by visiting Botanical Garden and the Rose Garden. Overnight at Ooty.

DAY 17: OOTY

Your entire day is free to relax in the resort. If you wish you have a stroll to the famous spice markets. Overnight at Ooty.

DAY 18: OOTY – MYSORE

Today in the morning after breakfast you are driven to Mysore. Luckily you have a chance to cross through two wildlife sanctuaries Mudhumalai Forest and Bandipur National Park. Maybe you can see few animals while you are traveling. Overnight at Mysore.

DAY 19: MYSORE DAY TOUR

This morning your tour starts to visit the Mysore Maharajah Palace which is a huge building built in the nineteenth century and by designed “Henry Irwin” and worked by the Wodeyars. Just then have a drive to Chamundi Hills to visit the well-known Chamundeshwari Temple. Toward the evening have the drive to visit the popular recorded city “Srirangapatna”, which used to be the capital city of amazing Muslim warrior Tipu Sultan. Overnight at Mysore.

DAY 20: MYSORE – HASSAN

After the breakfast, drive to Hassan. On the way, you visit the most prominent Jain temple known as called “Shravanabelogola”. This place is known for its massive solid statue of Gomateshwara. Then continue a drive to visit the Hoysaleshwara temple in a little town called Halebidu and Chenna Kesava Temple at Belur. Both the temples were erected during the Hoysala regime in the twelfth century and they portray the love of architecture. Overnight at Hassan.

DAY 21: HASSAN – BANGALORE

In the morning after breakfast has a drive to Bangalore. Visit the celebrated Lal Bagh Garden and Tipu Palace in the City. Overnight at Bangalore.

DAY 22: DEPARTURE TO BANGALORE AIRPORT

Today after breakfast you transferred Bangalore Airport to catch your pre-booked flight to Delhi or Back on.
